CGC Tests

At the end of each Basic Obedience class, the Manhattan Kansas Kennel Club offers an AKC Canine Good Citizen Test. The test is comprised of ten elements involving basic skills and manners associated with a well-behaved and well-socialized dog. An AKC CGC evaluator administers the test. When a dog passes all ten elements, the dog receives an official certificate from AKC and earns the initials CGC after its name.
