Frequently Asked Questions

1. How much do classes cost?
The fee for a class is $75 for a 7-week session or $65 if the dog is a shelter or rescue animal or if the individual has previously enrolled in a class from MKKC. Conformation class is by appointment, and the fee is $20 per meeting. We also offer one-on-one sessions, and the fee is $20 for a half-hour session.

2. Do you only promote purebred dogs?
We welcome both pure and mixed breeds into membership as well as our classes and activities. We promote responsible dog ownership for all breeds of dogs.

3. Are your trainers experienced?
Our trainers are members of our Kennel Club with a wealth of knowledge and personal experience in training and showing their own dogs as well as others. In addition, we have several breed, obedience, rally, and agility judges in our club. We always teach with a positive reinforcement method which helps to provide a good experience to both the dog and the handler/owner.
